HARTMANN site in Herbrechtingen earned a silver rating from EcoVadis

EcoVadis Silver badge for top 15% sustainability rating in May 2025, highlighting eco-friendly and responsible business practices.

Following its latest ESG reassessment, the HARTMANN site in Herbrechtingen earned a silver medal from EcoVadis. With a total score of 74, the site ranks in the top three percent of recently assessed manufacturers of medical and dental instruments and supplies. This ranking speaks to HARTMANN’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.

EcoVadis provides globally recognized assessments of companies’ sustainability performance. These assessments evaluate companies across 21 criteria in four key areas: environmental protection, labor standards and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Medals are awarded only to companies with robust sustainability management systems that outperform their peers in these categories.

Herbrechtingen performed especially well in ethics (top 2%), labor standards and human rights (top 3%), and environmental protection (top 4%), while also scoring highly in sustainable procurement (top 5%).

Alongside Herbrechtingen's silver rating, the HARTMANN Group received a bronze medal in its first group-wide ESG rating. Kneipp, HARTMANN’s B2C subsidiary, achieved a platinum rating, reflecting robust sustainability performance across the group.
