Incontinence Management: taking care of what matters

Helping people affected by incontinence to manage their daily life

True to our mission to improve the lives of users, caregivers, relatives, and healthcare professionals, our incontinence management products are part of a holistic approach: in addition to producing a broad range of self-care products, we offer discreet protection and practical advice to users, enabling them to take control of their lives and live them to the fullest.

The pillars of our work

As a leading manufacturer, HARTMANN has been providing incontinence products in over 35 countries for over 50 years. Our extensive research aims to find holistic solutions that meet individuals’ practical demands and give them emotional confidence and a secure feeling. Our products not only absorb urine and capture feces to prevent leakage, but also protect affected skin, providing a unique range of secure and skin-friendly products that are easy to use and comfortable to wear. We want to make everyday life easier, no matter the issue – so that everyone can focus on what really matters in their lives.

Simple solutions

Our customers’ personal well-being and quality of life are at the heart of everything we do. In addition to developing innovative products and services, we actively look for opportunities to simplify their lives and provide guidance along the different stages of incontinence.

Our product ranges provide reliable leakage protection and maintain healthy skin to enable those experiencing urine leakage to live a normal life again.

Breaking the silence

Millions of people live with urinary incontinence, which can happen to anyone at any age. Yet, it remains a subject we don’t seem comfortable talking about, with many people suffering in silence rather than asking for help.

We asked thousands of people across Europe* and 68 percent say it has a negative impact on overall life. 66 percent have never even talked to their friends about it.
Isn’t it time to break this taboo?

Our process

Our process is geared toward holistic incontinence management. Using proven technology to fulfill the highest demands in quality, reliability, and efficacy, we also develop future-minded solutions. They work for everyone: healthcare professionals are provided with tools that improve their daily work and patients receive products that meet their needs. The combination of our absorbent MoliCare® product range and MoliCare® Skin products helps to prevent skin irritations because our products maintain the acid mantle of the skin with a skin-friendly formula.

The shortage of nursing staff has been evident in many healthcare facilities for years. That’s why we also place great emphasis on developing products that simplify the work of caregivers – such as MoliCare® Premium Elastic. The convenient all-in-one incontinence slip was developed specifically for caregivers, who benefit from its particularly easy handling and about 20 percent faster application.

More about our MoliCare® products

Our MoliCare® range is the latest development designed to make life easier for patients and improve their quality of life.

A good example of this innovative spirit: our new MoliCare® Premium Form, which comes with an improved core technology that absorbs urine 64 percent faster than before, effectively provides added security against leakages, and also prevents potential skin irritations. Thanks to its superabsorbent polymers, the MoliCare® Premium Form also neutralizes unpleasant odors.

We want to make the incontinence management process as easy and transparent as possible for caretakers and patients alike. Our country websites show what products are available in each area. Users will also find detailed instructions about how to correctly apply MoliCare® products.
