HARTMANN GROUP receives Silver Medal from EcoVadis

The HARTMANN GROUP has been awarded a Silver Medal for its commitment to sustainability in the globally recognized Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) rating by EcoVadis. This rating honors companies that actively demonstrate their commitment to sustainability. This places the HARTMANN GROUP among the top 15% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis over the past twelve months – a result that highlights the company’s sustainability progress.

Putting sustainability into action

EcoVadis conducts globally recognized assessments of companies’ sustainability performance. Companies are assessed on 21 criteria in four key areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Only companies with strong sustainability practices that outperform their peers receive the award.

HARTMANN GROUP’s industry ranking

Overall, the company ranks among the top 15% in the EcoVadis assessment. Within its industry (manufacturing of medical and dental instruments and materials), the HARTMANN GROUP ranks among the top 4% of evaluated companies.

The company excels all four assessed areas. In labor and human rights, HARTMANN ranks among the top 5% in its industry, with even stronger results in environment (top 2%) and ethics (top 3%). The company also outperforms the industry average in sustainable procurement (top 10%).
