HARTMANN applies for environmental technology award
A clear example of this principle in action is the packaging used for Bacillol® Zero Tissues, a product for the rapid cleaning and disinfection of surfaces in medical facilities. The film used is made entirely of polypropylene.
This choice significantly improves recyclability. When properly collected, the packaging can be sorted and efficiently recycled. This way, HARTMANN actively supports the development of closed material loops.

The decision to use mono film was made deliberately – without compromising on quality or performance. The packaging reliably protects the ready-to-use disinfectant wipes from drying out, while also meeting the strict European standards for durability, resealability and ease of use.
These features are essential for safe, hygienic and efficient use, especially in healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes and doctors’ offices.
The recyclable mono film packaging of Bacillol® Zero Tissues is one element of PAUL HARTMANN AG’s broader commitment to sustainability. This includes optimizing packaging materials, reducing CO₂ emissions, using resource-efficient manufacturing processes and promoting sustainable disposal solutions.
